Network Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Network Specialist to strengthen our network security posture across on‑premise and hybrid cloud environments. The contractor will assess exposure, define secure boundaries, and enforce segmentation to reduce the attack surface.

Key responsibilities

• Assess network exposure and map traffic dependencies across sites, servers, cloud platforms, guest and vendor networks.
• Design, document and implement network segmentation controls, ADVPN shortcut restrictions, and separation of production vs non‑production environments.
• Configure and maintain firewalls, VPNs, NAC solutions (Aruba ClearPass) and host‑based controls to enforce approved traffic flows.
• Develop east‑west traffic flow matrices, micro‑segmentation for server farms, and segregated access for guests, contractors and third‑party vendors.
• Validate business traffic, remove unnecessary routing paths and firewall rules, and support attack‑surface monitoring and major network redesign initiatives.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of hands‑on experience implementing network security technologies in enterprise environments.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve network security issues in production settings.
• Experience working with hybrid connectivity and validating security controls after implementation.

• ADVPN (Adaptive Dynamic VPN) implementation and troubleshooting.
• Aruba ClearPass deployment, policy management and administration.
• Firewall policy design, ACL management and rule optimization.
• VPN configuration and support.
• Network Access Control (NAC) technologies.
• Network segmentation and traffic restriction enforcement.
