Node.js Backend Developer (Intermediate Level)

About the role

We are seeking an Intermediate Node.js Backend Developer to join our remote team. You will work on travel‑related platforms, building and maintaining robust server‑side logic and integrating a variety of third‑party travel APIs.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Node.js.
• Create and integrate internal and external travel APIs.
• Optimize performance and scalability of micro‑service architecture.
• Collaborate closely with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain version control using Git.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in backend development.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js and server‑side JavaScript.
• Experience with Nest.js, Fastify or similar frameworks.
• Familiarity with travel services and their APIs.
• Hands‑on experience with microservices and message brokers such as RabbitMQ, Kafka or NATS.
• Knowledge of MongoDB or PostgreSQL databases.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
