Nurse - Mobile Clinic, Lakki Marwat

About the role

Normeca International AS is running a mobile multi-diagnostic clinic project in Pakistan, in collaboration with the Islamic Development Bank and the Government of Pakistan. The mobile clinics are fully equipped trailers offering diagnostic services and minor surgery, with kitchens, laundry, dining and conference rooms. Normeca is looking for an experienced nurse to provide nursing care to patients in rural areas, working full time in Lakki Marwat.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, wound care and other nursing procedures
• Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical information
• Assist physicians during examinations and procedures
• Educate patients and families on health management, disease prevention and hygiene
• Develop and implement patient care plans with the healthcare team
• Maintain accurate patient records and follow healthcare regulations and safety standards
• Assist in managing medical supplies and equipment
• Take part in continuing education and set up and dismantle mobile medical units at different locations

Required profile

• Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution and a valid nursing license
• Proven experience as a nurse
• Strong knowledge of nursing care methods, procedures and emergency care
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, and a compassionate, patient-focused approach
• Willingness to work in non-standard conditions in rural areas; English proficiency is an advantage
