Odoo Functional Consultant

About the role

HST Technologies, an Odoo consulting practice serving clients in the Middle East, Pakistan and internationally, is hiring an Odoo Functional Consultant for an onsite position in Lahore. The consultant takes ownership of functional delivery across client engagements, turning business requirements into working Odoo configurations, running discovery workshops and making sure solutions match how clients operate.

Key responsibilities

• Lead discovery sessions and business process mapping workshops, and prepare Business Requirement Documents and process flows
• Configure Odoo modules such as Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Manufacturing (BoM/MRP), Accounting, POS, HR and Project Management
• Prepare and deliver customized Odoo demos and plan and execute master data migration, including cleansing, templates and validation
• Work with the technical team to turn functional specs into development briefs for custom modules, reports or workflows
• Deliver end-user and admin training, provide go-live cutover support and handle post-implementation helpdesk tickets
• Prepare SOPs, configuration guides and handover documentation, and support pre-sales scoping, effort estimation and proposals
• Stay current with Odoo releases, new features and regional compliance requirements (ZATCA, FBR/PRA)

Required profile

• 2 to 5+ years of hands-on experience with Odoo ERP (Community or Enterprise, version 14 or above)
• At least 3 full-cycle Odoo implementations (discovery through go-live)
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, IT, Computer Science or a related field; Odoo Functional Certification highly preferred
• Fluent English (written and verbal)

Required skills

• Strong functional knowledge of Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting and at least one of Manufacturing, POS or HR
• Self-sufficient in configuring Odoo for standard requirements without developer dependency
• Nice to have: Odoo Studio or basic Python/XML customization, ZATCA/FBR/PRA e-invoicing, multi-company setups, API integrations, e-commerce workflows, and prior consulting experience
