Operations Compliance Specialist

About the role

The Operations Compliance Specialist acts as the compliance authority within Haleon's operations department, ensuring that all activities meet regulatory, quality, financial, and safety standards. This role supports the company's purpose of delivering better everyday health by maintaining rigorous compliance across manufacturing and operational processes.

Key responsibilities

• Perform timely d-MERP/SAP transactions and maintain accurate Production Master Data.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to resolve system issues and manage master data updates, access requests, and BMR/BPR uploads.
• Ensure smooth month‑end closing for Finance and generate production performance reports.
• Maintain departmental dashboards, track KPIs, and drive performance accountability.
• Guarantee compliance with GMP, EHS, Finance, and Haleon Performance System (HAPS) standards.
• Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives, raise events/deviations, and ensure audit readiness.
• Investigate production issues through root‑cause analysis, implement corrective actions, and lead deviation teams.
• Oversee labor compliance, working‑hours regulations, and overtime management.
• Report unsafe conditions, wear PPE, attend EHS training, and follow safe work procedures.
• Review and update the Business Continuity Plan and Risk Register regularly.

Required profile

• Serves as the compliance authority within the operations department.
• Ensures adherence to regulatory requirements, cGMP, quality standards, financial controls, and EHS policies.
• Demonstrates strong working knowledge of operational and compliance systems.
