Operations Specialist - Insurance Platform

About the role

Glow is a U.S.-based digital insurance platform for small businesses, backed by a $22M Series A, and is scaling its operations in Pakistan. As an Operations Specialist you will work with the operations team on data-driven projects such as generating quotes and onboarding new customers, on a U.S. schedule with direct coaching and feedback from experienced leaders. The role is hands-on and process-oriented, and you will work onsite in Lahore.

Key responsibilities

• Process new insurance applications, renewals, cancellations and premium payments
• Generate and follow up on insurance quotations and endorsements through fact-finding
• Maintain and update client records accurately in the database
• Take calls with customers and insurance carriers to gather information and ensure timely processing
• Perform accurate data entry and assist in internal and external audits and compliance checks
• Resolve documentation or record discrepancies and handle customer queries and feedback professionally
• Support operational reports and analytics for management, own project delivery and meet performance metrics

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance or a similar field
• 0-2 years of professional experience; fresh graduates are welcome
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, able to work independently
• Attention to detail, methodical and organized, able to thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
• Comfortable working the night shift (8pm-5am Pakistan time / 8am-5pm PST)
• Lahore-based and able to work onsite

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
• CRM tools such as HubSpot
• Bonus: knowledge of insurance policies and regulations, previous insurance operations experience, startup experience
