OQ Officer

About the role

You will provide quality oversight on the manufacturing floor to help ensure safe, compliant and timely supply. You will work with production, engineering, laboratory and quality colleagues to detect and resolve quality issues in real time. Key responsibilities

• Perform in‑process checks during manufacturing, filling and packaging to ensure procedures and specifications are followed.
• Review batch documents for manufacturing, filling, packaging and laboratory and assist in their compilation for timely, compliant product release.
• Support investigations into deviations, incidents and customer complaints and help implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain oversight of retained samples, batch records and traceability in line with site policies.
• Coach production teams on good manufacturing practice and promote continuous improvement.
• Participate in internal audits, validations and quality risk assessments as required.
• Ensure products are manufactured and released in accordance with GSK QMS, local regulatory and EHS requirements.
• Manage facilities/equipment condition assessments for GMP/GDP processes to confirm no impact on product quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in a science discipline with relevant experience.
• 2–3 years’ experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, production operations or quality assurance.
• Practical knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and quality systems.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills and ability to work in English.
• Experience with investigations, root‑cause analysis and CAPA implementation.
