Oracle SCM Functional Consultant

About the role

Jaffer Business Systems (JBS), a leading IT company in Pakistan, is hiring an experienced Oracle SCM Functional Consultant for its JBS Consulting business unit. The consultant implements, configures and supports Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12 Supply Chain Management (SCM) modules, translating business requirements into effective Oracle solutions. The position is full-time and onsite in Karachi.

Key responsibilities

• Implement, configure and support Oracle EBS R12 SCM modules.
• Manage and maintain Oracle Purchasing, Inventory, iProcurement and Order Management modules.
• Handle end-to-end procurement, inventory, receiving and order processing workflows.
• Gather business requirements, analyse business processes and prepare functional documentation.
• Conduct functional testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and end-user training.
• Troubleshoot application issues and provide ongoing functional support.
• Coordinate with technical teams on customisations, enhancements and system integrations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Practical experience with Oracle EBS R12 SCM modules and in Oracle SCM implementation, configuration, testing and support.
• Demonstrated understanding of end-to-end supply chain and procurement workflows.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities, and good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Required skills

• Hands-on experience with Oracle EBS R12 SCM modules.
• Knowledge of Oracle Purchasing, Inventory, iProcurement and Order Management.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and Oracle database concepts.
