Part-time Dental Assistant

About the role

Ujala Dental & Aesthetics is seeking a part-time Dental Assistant to join its multidisciplinary team in Islamabad. The role supports dental practitioners in delivering safe, efficient and patient-centred care within a combined dental and skin-care clinic.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and set up instruments and materials for each procedure.
• Assist dentists during examinations, fillings, extractions and other common dental treatments.
• Maintain strict sterilization and infection-control protocols for all equipment.
• Welcome patients, explain basic steps of procedures and ensure their comfort throughout the visit.
• Document treatment details, manage appointment flow and support post-treatment patient education.

Required profile

• Foundational knowledge of dental care and dentistry.
• Understanding of oral-care practices and ability to educate patients on hygiene and after-care.
• Hands-on experience or formal training in dental assisting within a clinic setting.
• Relevant diploma, certification or coursework in dental assisting or a related health-care field.
• Attention to detail, reliability and ability to follow clinical protocols accurately.
• Professional, respectful communication and a calm, reassuring manner with patients.
