Part-Time Primary & Secondary Tutor

About the role

The Shamim Majeed Foundation is looking for a part‑time tutor to support primary and secondary students in Rawalpindi. You will help learners strengthen their academic understanding, build confidence and develop effective study habits through engaging, tailored lessons.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver individual or small‑group lessons for assigned primary and secondary subjects.
• Prepare lesson plans, activities, exercises and revision material.
• Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback and report to foundation staff.
• Identify learning gaps and adjust instruction to improve comprehension and performance.
• Encourage positive classroom behavior, participation and independent learning.
• Maintain accurate attendance, progress and lesson records.
• Collaborate with colleagues to advance the foundation’s educational and social‑impact goals.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of the relevant primary and secondary curriculum.
• Ability to explain complex topics in clear, age‑appropriate language.
• Patience, empathy, adaptability and motivation skills for diverse learners.
• Clear verbal and written communication with students, colleagues and families.
• Commitment to safeguarding, inclusion and the nonprofit mission.
