Montessori Guide / Early Childhood Teacher

About the role

We are looking for a caring Montessori Guide/Early Childhood Teacher to join our boutique learning pod in Rawalpindi. The role involves creating a warm, structured, and safe classroom environment that blends Montessori methods with Pakistan’s Single National Curriculum.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain an orderly Montessori learning environment with age‑appropriate materials.
• Guide children through practical‑life, sensorial, language, early mathematics and cultural activities.
• Observe each child, document progress and adapt activities to individual developmental needs.
• Support social‑emotional development, positive behaviour and independence.
• Integrate learning objectives from the Single National Curriculum into daily planning.
• Uphold high standards of child safety, hygiene, supervision and safeguarding.
• Communicate professionally with parents regarding progress and concerns.

Required profile

• Working knowledge of Montessori principles and child‑led education.
• Ability to plan engaging early‑years activities across language, numeracy, movement, creativity and culture.
• Strong observation skills and ability to record developmental progress.
• Patient, warm, calm and respectful classroom management style.
• Clear verbal and written communication with children, parents and colleagues.
• Commitment to safeguarding, hygiene and safety procedures.
• Reliability, punctuality and willingness to learn from feedback.

Required skills

• Montessori practical‑life and sensorial activity facilitation.
• Classroom material organisation and maintenance.
• Documentation of child development observations.
