Pharmacist – Telehealth Role

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Pharmacist to join our team and provide pharmaceutical care through a telehealth platform. The role involves reviewing prescriptions, counseling patients, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective medication use.

Key responsibilities

• Review and execute physician prescriptions, confirming appropriateness and legality.
• Provide medication therapy management, safety monitoring, and patient counseling.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Monitor medication adherence and maintain accurate medication histories.
• Manage prescription and non‑prescription orders, including refill authorizations.
• Utilize digital healthcare systems to streamline pharmacy operations.
• Document and communicate consultation outcomes to the care team.
• Stay current with pharmaceutical research, guidelines, and best practices.

Required profile

• Valid pharmacist license in the practicing state.
• 3–5 years of experience in a pharmacy setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Pharm.D.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is desirable.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.

Required skills

• Proficiency with pharmaceutical databases and pharmacy software.
• Experience using digital healthcare systems for remote work.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) platforms.
