PhD Engineer (Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical)

About the role

We are seeking a PhD‑level Engineer with expertise in electrical, mechanical or chemical engineering to join a leading technology client on a contractual basis. The role is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while contributing to innovative R&D projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and test new systems and technologies that require advanced engineering knowledge.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define project requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
• Conduct research and stay current with the latest advancements in your engineering discipline.
• Communicate technical findings to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders, including senior leadership.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation such as design documents, test plans and results.

Required profile

• PhD in Electrical, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering with a strong academic record.
• Proven research and development experience, including design and testing of new technologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and meet deadlines.
