Plant Operator

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Plant Operator to join our chemical manufacturing facility in Lahore. The role is full‑time, on‑site and involves ensuring safe and efficient operation of production equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Start, stop and adjust plant machinery according to standard operating procedures.
• Monitor gauges, process parameters and record operating data for production reports.
• Coordinate with the quality control team to verify product specifications.
• Report and help resolve any process deviations or equipment issues.
• Perform basic preventive maintenance and support troubleshooting activities.
• Maintain a clean, orderly and safe work environment and follow all safety, environmental and regulatory guidelines.

Required profile

• Proven experience in plant operations and machine handling in an industrial or chemical setting.
• Hands‑on ability to set up, run and monitor equipment safely.
• Knowledge of quality‑control procedures and basic maintenance tasks.
• Safe forklift operation skills for material handling.
• Ability to read and follow SOPs, production logs and technical instructions.
• Attention to detail, reliability for shift work and strong teamwork orientation.
• Minimum secondary or technical/vocational education; a diploma in chemical, mechanical or industrial technology is a plus.
