Power BI Developer

About the role

DataGraders is seeking an experienced Power BI Developer to join its Data & Analytics team in Lahore. The role covers the full Power BI development lifecycle, from connecting to source systems and extracting data to modeling, dashboard creation, deployment and performance optimisation.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Connect Power BI directly to databases, APIs, ERP applications and other enterprise systems.
• Extract, transform and cleanse data using Power Query/M and build scalable data models.
• Develop business calculations and KPIs using DAX and implement Row‑Level Security.
• Publish and manage reports, datasets and workspaces in Power BI Service and configure data gateways.
• Troubleshoot data extraction, refresh, performance and reporting issues.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of hands‑on Power BI development experience.
• Strong SQL skills and ability to query databases independently.
• Experience connecting directly to source systems and extracting data.
• Proficiency with DAX and Power Query/M for data transformation.
• Good understanding of dimensional modeling and star‑schema design.
• Ability to work with business and technical stakeholders and document solutions.
