Powerhouse Operations Supervisor

About the role

Gatron Industries Limited is seeking a Powerhouse Operations Supervisor to lead the day‑to‑day management of its powerhouse equipment and utilities at the HUB Chowki manufacturing site. The role ensures reliable, safe, and cost‑effective operation of all utility systems across multiple shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily powerhouse operations and ensure smooth functioning of utilities equipment.
• Monitor equipment performance, detect abnormalities such as leakages, unusual sounds, or process deviations, and coordinate timely troubleshooting.
• Work closely with maintenance and other departments to resolve issues promptly.
• Plan and manage shift schedules to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
• Review and enforce preventive‑maintenance schedules, ensuring availability of fuel, lubricants, and other resources.
• Analyze breakdowns, support testing and trial activities for machinery, and maintain operational discipline.
• Track workforce utilization, overtime, and compliance with HSE standards, SOPs, and operational procedures.
• Review monthly fuel, energy, and gas consumption reports and assist in procurement planning for operational materials.

Required profile

• DAE or B‑Tech in Mechanical, Energy, Chemical engineering or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in powerhouse or utilities operations within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of industrial utilities and operational coordination.
• Effective reporting, communication, and team‑management abilities.
