Pre-Sales Engineer (B2B)

About the role

Devsinc, a global software engineering and AI consultancy, is looking for a Pre‑Sales Engineer to support the Head of Pre‑Sales B2B across the full deal lifecycle, from RFP analysis to proposal delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Own RFP/RFI responses, create traceability matrices and identify scope gaps before drafting.
• Develop detailed cost and margin models using module‑level manday breakdowns and regional rate cards.
• Author proposal sections such as Scope of Work, Solution Architecture, Assumptions, Constraints and Risk Register for both simple and full‑scale solutions.
• Collaborate with delivery leads to size teams for D365/ERP, AI/GenAI and platform‑migration projects and assess integration risks.
• Maintain pipeline accuracy in HubSpot, prepare discovery‑call talking points and support technical client conversations.
• Perform document quality checks to eliminate dead links, missing sections and internal rate exposures.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in pre‑sales, solutions engineering or technical sales within a software services/consultancy environment.
• Strong technical writing ability and advanced Excel skills for costing and margin calculations.
• Comfort working with ambiguous RFPs and creating structured question lists.
• Experience with CRM systems such as HubSpot for pipeline hygiene.
