Pre-sales Solution Engineer – PV Inverters (Pakistan)

About the role

TBEA, a world‑leading renewable energy solutions provider, is building a pre‑sales technical team for string, distributed and hybrid PV inverters in the Pakistan market. The Pre‑sales Solution Engineer will work closely with customers in Lahore or Karachi to design smart, efficient photovoltaic systems and support the sales process.

Key responsibilities

• Provide pre‑sales technical support for string, distributed and hybrid PV inverter solutions.
• Design system solutions based on customer requirements, including inverter selection, system configuration and energy‑storage integration.
• Prepare technical proposals, solution presentations and bidding documents.
• Assist sales teams during customer meetings, product demonstrations and technical discussions.
• Conduct feasibility studies, system simulations and cost‑performance analyses.
• Coordinate with R&D, product and delivery teams to ensure solution feasibility and competitiveness.
• Monitor market trends, competitor products and evolving customer needs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, Renewable Energy or a related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in PV system design, pre‑sales support or solution management.
• Strong knowledge of PV systems, including string inverters, distributed systems and hybrid/energy‑storage solutions.
• Familiarity with grid codes, standards and local regulations.
• Excellent presentation, communication and documentation skills in English.
• Willingness to travel for customer engagements.

Required skills

• PVsyst or similar system design tools.
• Electrical design principles for photovoltaic installations.
• Knowledge of string, distributed and hybrid inverter technologies.
• Energy‑storage integration expertise.
