Presales Engineer

About the role

The Presales Engineer will work closely with customers to translate business and technical requirements into robust managed network solutions. You will act as a bridge between sales, engineering, and delivery teams, ensuring proposals are technically sound and aligned with client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Engage customers to gather business and technical requirements.
• Design end‑to‑end network solutions covering LAN/WAN, SD‑WAN, WiFi/WLAN, Internet/MPLS, security and firewall.
• Prepare technical proposals, solution diagrams, Bill of Materials, Scope of Work, and HLD/LLD documents.
• Conduct presentations and technical discussions with customers.
• Coordinate pricing and technical validation with vendors and internal teams.
• Support implementation, commissioning, configuration, integration and testing activities.
• Maintain as‑built documentation, acceptance reports and operational handover documents.
• Assist sales during RFP/RFQ responses, tender submissions, PoCs and technical evaluations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics/Telecom Engineering.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Proven experience in customer handling and relationship management.
• Analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects.
• Team coordination and stakeholder management experience.
