Pretreatment Manager / Deputy Manager

About the role

Sadiq Interlinings, an OEKO TEX-certified manufacturer of fusible interlinings founded in 1999, is looking for an experienced Deputy Manager / Manager to oversee its pretreatment operations at its Gujranwala facility. This is a full-time, on-site role covering pretreatment for fusible interlining production, including chemical preparation, process parameters and machine performance. The manager plans production, coordinates with quality control and maintenance, implements process improvements and supports audits and certifications.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise singeing, desizing, scouring and bleaching operations.
• Plan daily activities and coordinate with production teams to meet operational targets.
• Monitor process parameters, chemical usage and fabric quality.
• Identify and resolve process issues with quality and maintenance teams.
• Supervise operators and guide them to safe, efficient working practices.
• Maintain accurate process and production records.
• Collaborate with senior management on technical projects, support audits and train team members.

Required profile

• 8-9 years of relevant experience in textile pretreatment.
• Degree in Textile Engineering, Chemical Engineering or an equivalent qualification preferred; a diploma or degree in Textile, Chemical, Industrial Engineering or a related field is preferred.
• Prior experience in textile or interlinings manufacturing, especially pretreatment or finishing, is highly beneficial.
• Experience in team supervision, production planning, quality control and process monitoring.

Required skills

• Strong practical knowledge of pretreatment processes, chemical handling and fabric finishing.
• Production planning, workflow optimization and resource management.
• Quality control, process monitoring and data-driven problem solving.
• Leadership, communication and documentation skills.
• Familiarity with OEKO TEX or similar standards, safety regulations and continuous improvement methods (e.g. 5S, Lean) is an advantage.
