Principal DevOps Engineer (Azure)

About the role

We are looking for a Principal DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in Azure and cloud automation. You will lead critical initiatives, ensure SLA compliance, and work closely with development teams to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable cloud solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain SLA adherence and communicate status of urgent issues.
• Design, build, and support cloud automation using Puppet and related technologies.
• Troubleshoot Linux, networking, and load‑balancing problems.
• Collaborate with development engineering to create and operate CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop and manage QA, development, and production environments in the cloud.
• Ensure infrastructure security, reliability, scalability, and automation.
• Provide direct server support during deployments and production operations.
• Design, implement, and test agreed‑upon infrastructures.
• Automate deployment of Linux applications, system configurations, and security settings.
• Participate in candidate evaluation for open positions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• 6‑10 years of professional experience with cloud platforms and DevOps tools.
• Strong experience administering Azure or AWS IaaS environments.
• Hands‑on expertise with Microsoft tooling (TFS, TeamCity) and virtualization technologies.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
