Principal Software Quality Assurance Engineer

About the role

Eon is seeking a highly motivated Principal Software Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure the reliability of its AI‑driven patient management platform. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams, translating clinical workflows into robust automated test suites that keep our healthcare software safe and effective.

Key responsibilities

• Execute existing automated test cases, analyze results, and report defects.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Collaborate with technical implementation teams to understand provider requirements, clinical workflows, and regulatory constraints.
• Perform post‑deployment verification and validation, addressing issues reported by providers, coordinators, or patients.
• Review third‑party applications and end‑to‑end workflows to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Conduct ad‑hoc testing on urgent customer‑reported issues to identify root causes.
• Document healthcare provider workflows and anticipate quality concerns.
• Partner with product and development teams to prioritize and resolve customer‑reported issues.
• Identify automation opportunities and define acceptance criteria for new test scenarios.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Approximately 6+ years of software testing and QA experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced, mission‑driven environment.

Required skills

• Practical experience with Cypress framework.
• Practical experience with Selenium framework.
• Proficiency in creating and maintaining automated test scripts.
• Experience with functional, regression, and performance testing of software applications.
