Procurement Officer

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Procurement Officer to own and streamline our end‑to‑end purchasing processes. You will work closely with vendors, the accounts team, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth procurement operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full procurement lifecycle from purchase request generation, RFQ processing, PO issuance, to GRN tracking and order finalisation.
• Maintain organized digital and physical procurement files, including requisitions, quotations, purchase orders, delivery notes, contracts and compliance documents.
• Coordinate with the Accounts Department for invoice booking, vendor debit/credit notes and audit‑ready document handovers.
• Source reliable local and international suppliers, negotiate terms, issue purchase orders and monitor delivery timelines to avoid stockouts.
• Align inventory by verifying shipments against Goods Receipt Notes and purchase orders in collaboration with warehouse and production teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience managing the purchasing cycle and related documentation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field (preferred).
• Strong understanding of the purchasing workflow (PR → RFQ → PO → GRN → Invoice).
• Excellent organisational and record‑keeping abilities for audit purposes.
• Proven negotiation and vendor relationship management skills.

• Experience using procurement software.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
