Procurement Partner – Home Care

About the role

The Procurement Partner supports efficient sourcing activities for Unilever's Home Care business. The role involves negotiating with third‑party manufacturers, managing supplier relationships and ensuring compliance with safety, quality and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate potential manufacturing partners based on safety, quality, capacity and cost.
• Conduct due‑diligence and monitor supplier performance and compliance.
• Negotiate pricing, terms and contracts, ensuring legal and regulatory requirements are met.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with external partners, addressing quality or delivery issues.
• Coordinate with internal teams (production, logistics, QA, regulatory) to ensure smooth production and delivery.
• Monitor inventory levels to avoid shortages or excess.
• Identify supply‑chain risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Collect and analyse data on supplier performance and costs, producing regular reports.
• Drive continuous improvement by streamlining processes and reducing costs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in procurement, low‑value sourcing, supply‑chain or vendor management, preferably in manufacturing or consumer goods.
• Strong negotiation, communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Knowledge of safety, quality assurance, regulatory compliance and manufacturing processes.
• Analytical mindset with data‑interpretation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Willingness to travel for supplier visits, audits and meetings.
