Product Manager - Liability Products & ADC

About the role

Mobilink Bank is hiring a Product Manager (AVP) for its Liability Products and Asset Deployment Channels (ADC) function, reporting to the Head of Product & Research and based at the head office in Islamabad. The role leads the development, management and performance of liability products (deposits, savings, current accounts and related offerings) and ADC, ensuring market competitiveness, strong risk management, regulatory compliance, operational efficiency and contribution to the bank's growth and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enhance the liability product portfolio (savings, current, term deposits and digital products) aligned with business and customer needs.
• Design competitive product features and pricing strategies focused on improving yield, margins and profitability.
• Drive the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation and feasibility to launch, digitalisation and continuous optimisation.
• Collaborate with IT and Digital teams on system integration, automation and digital onboarding and servicing.
• Work with Treasury and ALCO to optimise cost of funds, manage deposit mix and align liability growth with the asset strategy.
• Monitor product performance (yield, profitability, risk) and take corrective action; conduct market and customer analysis to refine positioning and pricing.
• Build pricing and financial models with Finance and Treasury.
• Activate deposit sources such as branch walk-ins, payroll accounts, NRPs, corporate relationships and digital channels, including mobile app onboarding, social media campaigns, referral programmes and fintech partnerships.
• Ensure compliance with SBP regulations, AML/KYC and internal risk frameworks, partnering with Legal, Compliance and Risk teams.
• Support product rollout through digital and branch channels and train sales teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• Professional certifications in banking, product management or risk (preferred).
• 5-8+ years of experience in liability product management, deposit growth strategy or banking product roles.
