Product & QA Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Product & QA Specialist to ensure the quality, reliability and usability of Android mobile apps, web applications and .NET backend APIs. The role involves hands‑on manual and automated testing, API validation, defect management and product documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Perform manual and automated testing of Android mobile and web applications using tools such as Selenium, Appium, Playwright or Cypress.
• Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, regression suites and QA checklists.
• Test .NET REST APIs with Postman, validating requests, responses, authentication and error handling.
• Execute functional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration, exploratory and boundary testing.
• Conduct Android device compatibility testing, including hardware features like QR/barcode scanners, biometric authentication, GPS, camera, NFC, Bluetooth and push notifications.
• Run basic SQL queries for database validation and ensure data integrity.
• Identify, document, prioritize and retest defects using Jira or similar tools.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, product and DevOps teams during sprint planning, bug triage and release activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 + years of experience in software QA/testing.
• Strong hands‑on experience in manual testing of Android mobile and web applications.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum, SDLC and STLC processes.
• Ability to work independently and own QA activities from requirement analysis to production release.

Required skills

• Android testing tools (Android Studio, ADB, device logs).
• Automated testing frameworks: Selenium, Appium, Playwright, Cypress.
• API testing with Postman.
• SQL/database validation.
• Defect tracking with Jira.
• CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI.
• Version control: Git.
• Exposure to AI‑driven testing tools such as Testim, Functionize or Mabl.
