Production Executive

About the role

The Production Executive supports the Senior Manager, Production in overseeing daily production activities and ensuring high-quality products meet KO standards, regulatory requirements and operational targets. The role manages production processes, maintains equipment reliability and safe working conditions, and contributes to continuous improvement. It complies with GMP and Integrated Management System standards (KORE, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 18001, ISO 22000). The position is based in Lahore, Pakistan, with travel of 0-25%.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Senior Manager, Production in overseeing production operations and ensuring processes and records comply with standards and regulations.
• Manage area-specific production processes and drive continuous improvement by identifying issues and implementing improvements.
• Monitor production schedules, quality requirements, materials and line performance to meet daily targets and plant KPIs (TDQ, PDR, Perfect Order, equipment efficiency, maintenance metrics).
• Ensure adherence to SOPs covering safety, food safety, environmental and regulatory policies.
• Apply Integrated Management System requirements (KORE, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 18001, ISO 22000) in manufacturing.
• Coordinate with the maintenance team on maintenance planning and production maintenance to maximise equipment reliability.
• Conduct root cause analysis and hazard assessments and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain production process documentation and communicate across cross-functional teams.
• Participate in production and workforce scheduling and facilitate team meetings and improvement discussions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, chemical or mechatronics engineering.
• 4-5 years of manufacturing or production operations experience, including supervising multiple production lines, preferably in FMCG.
• Strong understanding of food packaging, food safety, quality, GMP, HACCP, sanitation, ingredient handling, statistical process control, critical control points and new product scale-up.
• Knowledge of operational excellence, Lean Six Sigma, 5-Why and 5-S, and production KPIs.
• Experience with SAP production reporting and PI sheet closure.
