Production Supervisor

About the role

The Production Supervisor leads and develops the operational team to meet safety, cost, quality, inventory and service targets. This position drives continuous improvement, applies operational principles and provides actionable insights to optimise daily performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop staff, ensuring annual goals are set, communicated and achieved.
• Monitor safety, cost, quality and inventory metrics and take corrective actions.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives using operational best practices.
• Maintain accurate time‑keeping, overtime and vacation records.
• Manage work schedules, load factors and flow of work to maximise capacity and labour utilisation.
• Provide regular performance feedback and manage performance appraisals, promotions and terminations.
• Coordinate regional strategy and team operating plans, acting as a change‑agent and role model.
• Ensure compliance with the Global Performance Management System and corporate ethics.

• Strong leadership with experience in managing production or manufacturing teams.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills to partner with team members.
