Professor or Assistant Professor Oral Pathology

About the role

The university is seeking a qualified Professor or Assistant Professor in Oral Pathology to lead teaching, clinical training, and research activities within the Faculty of Dentistry. The successful candidate will join a vibrant academic community and contribute to the development of future oral health professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate lectures and practical sessions in oral pathology.
• Supervise laboratory work, clinical case discussions, and student research projects.
• Conduct original research, publish findings in peer‑reviewed journals, and obtain research funding.
• Assess student performance through examinations, assignments, and clinical evaluations.
• Participate in curriculum development, departmental meetings, and academic committees.

Required profile

• MBBS and FCPS qualifications in Obstetrics & Gynecology with a valid PMDC registration.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Registrar or equivalent in a recognized hospital.
• Demonstrated strength in clinical practice, diagnostic expertise, and teaching.
