Program Manager - Analytics

About the role

CERP, a consulting, policy and advisory firm founded in 2008 by Pakistani academics, is hiring a Program Manager for its Analytics and Systems practice. The role leads consulting engagements focused on operational improvement, strategic analysis and data-driven decision-making, working closely with clients to diagnose challenges, run research and analysis, develop recommendations and support implementation. It also involves stakeholder engagement, team leadership and contribution to business development.

Key responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to improve client operations through data-driven insights and structured problem-solving.
• Analyze data to draw industry or segment insights and turn them into strategic and operational recommendations.
• Facilitate client discussions and interviews to identify operational challenges, and engage private sector clients, government representatives, funders and academic partners.
• Work with senior team members to build workplans, identify critical-path items and develop risk mitigation strategies; assign work to team members.
• Lead planning and status calls, manage the client relationship and deliver projects to the client's satisfaction.
• Apply data mining, market research and business intelligence techniques, develop hypotheses, test solutions with data and refine recommendations.
• Lead a team of Analysts and Associates, multitask and deliver project tasks individually and through the team.

Required profile

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Data Science, Public Policy or a related field.
• At least 8 years of relevant experience in project management, consulting or analytics roles.
• Preferred: experience managing multi-stakeholder projects and leading donor-funded projects as the main point of contact for clients and donors.
• Proven experience managing at least 2-3 medium- to large-scale projects with teams of 3-10 or more people.
