Project Monitoring & Evaluation and Implementation Analyst

About the role

The Project M&E and Implementation Analyst will support the Merged Areas Governance Programme (MAGP) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. The role ensures systematic monitoring of activities, tracks progress against results, and strengthens reporting and learning while overseeing implementation compliance with UNDP and donor requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and strengthen the project’s Monitoring & Evaluation framework, including indicators, targets, milestones, and means of verification.
• Design data collection tools, templates, and methodologies for both qualitative and quantitative data.
• Conduct regular data quality assessments, validate data, and verify means of verification.
• Collect, clean, and analyze data to assess project performance; produce dashboards, trend analyses, and visualizations of key indicators.
• Support baseline, midline, and endline evaluations.
• Provide implementation oversight to ensure activities align with UNDP policies and donor requirements.

Required profile

• Experience in monitoring and evaluation of development projects.
• Familiarity with UNDP and donor reporting requirements.
• Ability to work in a multi‑stakeholder environment and support inclusive development objectives.
