Public Health Engineer / Plumbing Designer

About the role

M.E.Consult (Pvt.) Ltd. is seeking an experienced Public Health Engineer / Designer to join its MEP design team in Lahore. The role involves creating and coordinating plumbing and public health systems for a variety of building projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design domestic water supply, drainage, sewerage, and stormwater systems.
• Prepare hydraulic calculations, system layouts, schematics, and design reports.
• Design water storage tanks, pumping systems, and distribution networks.
• Coordinate designs with architectural, structural, HVAC, electrical, and fire‑fighting disciplines.
• Review drawings for compliance with codes, standards, and project requirements.
• Produce detailed design drawings and specifications.
• Liaise with clients, architects, consultants, and contractors during execution.
• Lead and supervise junior engineers or designers as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or related engineering.
• 10–12 years of experience in public health/plumbing design.
• Strong knowledge of water supply, drainage, sewerage, stormwater, and pumping systems.
• Experience on residential, commercial, high‑rise, and mixed‑use projects.
• Excellent technical, coordination, and communication abilities.

• AutoCAD
• Revit MEP/BIM (knowledge)
