Senior Business Development Manager

About the role

We are looking for a results‑driven Senior Business Development Manager to lead growth initiatives across engineering consultancy, MEP, infrastructure and power sectors. The successful candidate will leverage a strong industry network to secure new projects and build long‑term client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute business development strategies to meet revenue targets.
• Identify, pursue and win new opportunities in MEP consultancy, infrastructure, power, housing, commercial and industrial projects.
• Maintain relationships with clients, consultants, architects, developers, contractors and government bodies.
• Lead preparation and submission of technical and commercial bids, pre‑qualification documents and presentations.
• Negotiate contracts, commercial terms and service agreements.
• Form strategic partnerships, joint ventures and collaborations to expand market presence.
• Conduct market research, competitor analysis and opportunity assessments.
• Coordinate with technical, design, estimation and management teams to produce competitive proposals.
• Maintain a client database, sales pipeline and regular business development reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing or related field (Master's preferred).
• Minimum 10 years of business development experience in engineering consultancy, MEP, construction, infrastructure or power sectors.
• Proven track record of winning projects and achieving growth targets.
• Deep understanding of tendering procedures, contract negotiations and commercial proposals.
• Established professional network with developers, consultants, contractors and government organisations.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑management skills.
• Strong leadership, strategic planning and team‑management capabilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with business development reporting tools.
