About the role

Zeta X is looking for an experienced Purchasing Manager to coordinate the procurement of materials essential for continuous production. The role focuses on managing multiple purchase orders, ensuring timely vendor deliveries, and supporting uninterrupted production schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate material procurement to align with production schedules and multiple ongoing orders.
• Process purchase orders accurately using ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Maintain regular communication with vendors to guarantee timely receipt of materials.
• Implement strategic sourcing initiatives to reduce costs and optimise supplier selection.
• Develop and sustain strong supplier relationships to ensure reliability and quality.
• Monitor purchase order statuses and adjust plans based on production flow.
• Analyse procurement data and generate reports with advanced Excel to identify trends.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with the supply‑chain team to improve material availability.
• Resolve delivery delays, pricing disputes, or quality issues through effective vendor management.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing purchase orders and vendor relationships.
• Strong background in strategic sourcing and cost optimisation.
• Excellent data‑analysis capabilities for procurement performance tracking.
• Ability to work independently without direct team management.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on material flow and production continuity.
