Python Backend Developer (FastAPI/Flask)

About the role

ZZ Technologies is seeking a Python Backend Developer to join its engineering team. You will work on scalable web and mobile backend systems, collaborating with frontend, DevOps, and product teams to deliver high‑performance, secure solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain backend applications using Core Python, FastAPI, and Flask.
• Create scalable RESTful APIs and services for web and mobile platforms.
• Build real‑time communication features with WebSockets and gRPC.
• Implement asynchronous messaging and distributed processing using RabbitMQ.
• Design, optimize, and maintain databases such as MySQL, MongoDB, ElasticSearch, and Neo4j.
• Develop web‑scraping tools, crawlers, and automated data‑extraction pipelines.
• Integrate third‑party APIs and external services.
• Write clean, maintainable, well‑documented code following best practices.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams throughout planning, development, testing, and deployment.
• Use Git for version control and participate in code reviews.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of professional Python development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Core Python.
