QA Engineer - Manual

About the role

Creative Chaos is looking for a Manual QA Engineer to join its agile team in Karachi. You will work closely with developers, architects, and release managers to ensure high‑quality software delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize and execute day‑to‑day testing activities within a Scrum environment.
• Participate in sprint planning, product grooming and provide testing estimates.
• Document, track and verify resolution of bugs and issues before client delivery.
• Collaborate with other QA staff to meet daily QA targets with high quality.
• Develop and maintain QA processes, test cases and quality gates across the pipeline.
• Assist in training new QA team members and creating orientation material.

Required profile

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 1‑3 years of software quality assurance experience.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, test planning and execution.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development processes.

Required skills

• SQL and scripting proficiency.
• Postman and JMeter usage.
• Hands‑on experience with both white‑box and black‑box testing.
• Familiarity with automated testing tools.
