Quality Associate – Food Safety & Quality Management

About the role

As a Quality Associate at Nestlé’s Sheikhupura plant, you will ensure the consistent application of the Nestlé Quality Management System, safeguard food safety, and drive continuous excellence toward zero defects and waste.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, manage, and uphold the Nestlé Quality Management System at the plant level.
• Foster a culture of quality awareness and commitment to zero defects among plant personnel.
• Manage the release of raw and packaging materials and investigate non‑conformities until resolved.
• Conduct supplier audits, drive improvements, and strengthen partnerships for quality assurance.
• Uphold food safety and hygiene practices, including effective pest‑management programs.
• Manage the internal auditing program, assess system performance, report effectiveness, and propose improvements.
• Monitor key quality parameters using statistical process control and lead root‑cause analysis.
• Promote quality awareness and deliver training for personnel and contractors.
• Ensure compliance with WHO and local codes, avoiding direct contact with pregnant women and mothers of infants in a business capacity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or Chemistry.
• 1–2 years of experience in quality management, with demonstrated ability to lead a team.
• Proven track record of delivering results through cross‑functional collaboration.
