Radiology In-Charge (X-Ray and CT Scan)

About the role

SAS Enterprises is hiring a Radiology In-Charge for its client hospital in Karachi. The role leads and manages the day-to-day operations of the X-Ray and CT Scan departments, ensuring efficient, high-quality and safe diagnostic imaging services for patients.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the X-Ray and CT Scan departments, keeping workflows smooth and patient service efficient.
• Prepare monthly staff rosters so that radiographers, technologists and support staff are present on time and adequately covered.
• Lead and coordinate radiology staff, managing their schedules, training and performance.
• Maintain high-quality imaging standards, proper equipment calibration and regular maintenance of X-Ray and CT machines.
• Monitor adherence to radiation safety protocols and patient preparation procedures, ensuring patient comfort.
• Ensure accurate, timely documentation, report delivery and compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
• Maintain inventory of consumables and oversee equipment upkeep, repairs and AMC coordination.
• Work with radiologists and referring physicians on appropriate imaging protocols and diagnostic accuracy.
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed, define departmental standards and assist in audits or inspections.

Required profile

• Experience in radiology equipment management, calibration oversight and AMC/vendor coordination.
• Team leadership and staff scheduling for radiographers, technologists and support staff.
• Knowledge of radiation safety and regulatory compliance.
• Strong documentation, reporting and audit-readiness skills.

What we offer

• Monthly salary of PKR 80,000 to 120,000.
• Leave entitlements.
