About the role

We are seeking a friendly and organised Receptionist / Personal Assistant to support our mortgage team. The role involves handling inbound calls, qualifying leads, and coordinating with brokers, clients, estate agents and solicitors throughout the mortgage process.

Key responsibilities

Serve as the first point of contact for inbound calls and qualify new leads.
Schedule calls and appointments in the broker’s diary.
Liaise with estate agents and keep clients updated on mortgage application progress.
Chase clients for outstanding documents and information.
Contact solicitors to obtain updates and progress cases.
Maintain communication with all parties and ensure timely follow‑up of cases.

Required profile

Friendly, professional and confident when speaking to clients on the phone.
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
Proactive in following up outstanding information.
Ability to manage multiple cases and priorities.
Strong communication skills.
Experience in mortgages, financial services, estate agency or administration is desirable but not essential.
