About the role

The American Truck Inc. is a US‑based freight brokerage building modern logistics infrastructure. We are hiring a detail‑oriented Accountant for our Pakistan office to manage day‑to‑day financial records and reporting. The role involves handling collections, payments, and maintaining audit‑ready documentation while collaborating closely with the team and leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) with clients and customers.
• Follow up on outstanding invoices to ensure timely payments and collections.
• Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and reconciliations.
• Handle invoicing and payment tracking.
• Organize and maintain financial documentation in an audit‑ready state.
• Support month‑end close and prepare regular financial reports.
• Coordinate with vendors, clients, and internal teams on billing and payments.
• Use accounting software and AI‑assisted tools to streamline workflows.

Required profile

• Strong grasp of accounting fundamentals and record‑keeping.
• Tech‑friendly and comfortable learning new software quickly.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
• Genuine willingness to learn and apply AI tools in daily work.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
