Relationship Manager / Associate – Retail, SME & Commercial

About the role

We are looking for a Relationship Manager and an Associate Relationship Manager to acquire, develop and maintain a portfolio of retail, SME, seasonal and commercial clients across Pakistan. The role will drive revenue through trade finance, credit facilities and cross‑selling the bank’s full product suite while adhering to risk and compliance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Acquire new clients and deepen relationships with existing ones to maximise revenue within the bank’s risk appetite.
• Conduct detailed financial analysis of customer accounts and structure trade finance transactions in line with guidelines.
• Achieve assigned advances, trade, reciprocal business and CASA development targets.
• Renew obligors and advances timely, monitor recoveries, and manage watch‑list and NPL accounts.
• Implement relationship‑management strategies to protect the bank’s interests and expand market share.
• Provide market feedback, propose new facilities and stay updated on industry trends.
• Prepare and submit required MIS reports as directed by senior management.

Required profile

• Minimum graduate degree; preferably a master’s or equivalent qualification.
• 2‑5 years of relevant experience in banking, trade finance or credit analysis.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with proven relationship‑management and selling abilities.
• Solid understanding of risk identification, measurement and mitigation.
• Good knowledge of balance‑sheet and ratio analysis.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with a Loan Origination System (LOS).
