Remote Backpack Designer

About the role

Ballymoney Fabrics, an apparel and fashion company specializing in backpacks, is looking for a creative Backpack Designer to work remotely from Pakistan. You will be responsible for turning innovative concepts into production‑ready designs while collaborating closely with the production team.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop unique backpack concepts from initial sketch to final production.
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure designs are practical and manufacturable.
• Stay updated on fashion and accessory trends to create appealing designs.
• Prepare detailed tech packs and specifications for manufacturing.
• Communicate with suppliers and manufacturers regarding materials and production requirements.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of materials and manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of canvas and X‑Pac fabrics.
• Excellent visualization and sketching abilities.
• Ability to prepare detailed tech packs and specifications.
• Good communication skills for liaising with suppliers and manufacturers.
