Remote CAD & Simulation Consultant

About the role

Turing is seeking a remote CAD & Simulation Consultant to support a PAA‑based project. The role is ideal for seasoned aerospace, mechanical or electrical engineers with extensive hands‑on experience in CAD modeling and simulation workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Develop CAD models and run simulations/analysis for aerospace, mechanical and electrical components.
• Validate designs using industry‑standard tools such as CATIA, SolidWorks, ANSYS and MATLAB.
• Translate technical requirements into detailed simulation models and workflows.
• Optimize designs based on simulation outcomes and document methodologies.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams and maintain clear documentation of processes and results.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 + years of experience in CAD engineering and simulation‑focused roles.
• Strong fundamentals in aerospace, mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, remote environment.
• Commitment of 20–40 hours per week with at least 4 hours overlap in PST.
• Contract duration of 8 weeks, start date expected next week.
• Preferred: PhD in a relevant engineering discipline and prior experience with leading aerospace or engineering firms.
