Remote Candidate Screening Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Remote Candidate Screening Specialist to join our talent acquisition team. In this fully remote position you will conduct initial phone screenings, verify qualifications and help move qualified applicants forward in the hiring process.

Key responsibilities

• Perform high‑volume phone screenings for a variety of open positions.
• Assess candidates’ work history, communication skills, availability and fit against established hiring guidelines.
• Explain job duties, schedules and hiring expectations clearly to applicants.
• Record detailed notes and update candidate information in the applicant tracking system and CRM.
• Recommend qualified candidates to recruiters and hiring managers.
• Coordinate interview scheduling and provide recruitment updates to candidates.
• Meet daily productivity targets for outreach, screenings and interview coordination.
• Support additional recruitment projects as needed.

Required profile

• Excellent verbal and written English communication.
• Strong interviewing, active listening and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle a high volume of phone conversations throughout the workday.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently in a remote environment.
• Reliable computer, smartphone and stable internet connection.
• Previous experience in recruiting, candidate screening, staffing, customer service, call‑center operations, HR or sales is a plus.
