Remote DevOps Engineer – CI/CD & Cloud Infrastructure

About the role

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join a global technology leader on a contract basis. The role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure to accelerate software delivery and improve reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration with Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot incidents, and implement improvements for high availability.
• Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to embed DevOps best practices.
• Support and optimize cloud environments on AWS, Azure, or GCP, focusing on scalability and cost efficiency.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing CI/CD pipelines and using automation tools.
• Strong scripting abilities in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Solid understanding of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK Stack.
• Knowledge of networking concepts and cloud security best practices.
