Remote DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Remote DevOps Engineer to join RocketDevs’ network and work on client projects that require scalable, secure, and reliable cloud‑native infrastructure. You will be responsible for designing, building, and operating production systems for international SaaS products.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end deployment, automation, monitoring and reliability of production environments.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins or CircleCI.
• Build and scale Kubernetes clusters serving high‑traffic workloads.
• Implement infrastructure as code with Terraform, Pulumi or CloudFormation.
• Set up observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK) and optimise cloud costs.
• Ensure networking, security and disaster‑recovery best practices are applied.

Required profile

• Strong Linux command‑line proficiency.
• Hands‑on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP or Azure).
• Proven work with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines and using IaC tools.
• Familiarity with monitoring, logging and networking fundamentals.
• Ability to share a production infrastructure diagram that demonstrates real‑world usage.
