Remote Electrical Engineer – Contract

About the role

We are seeking a contract Electrical Engineer to design, develop, and validate electrical systems for high‑impact projects across multiple industries. The position is fully remote, offering flexible work from anywhere while collaborating with a global engineering services leader.

Key responsibilities

• Design and simulate electrical circuits, power and control systems using industry‑standard tools.
• Create and review schematics, PCB layouts, and wiring diagrams in line with safety regulations.
• Conduct failure‑mode analysis, root‑cause investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Work with mechanical, software and systems engineers to integrate electrical components into complete product solutions.
• Validate designs through prototyping, testing and documentation, ensuring compliance with relevant certifications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum three years of hands‑on experience with analog and digital circuit design, power distribution and embedded systems.
• Experience in Agile or structured engineering environments and version‑control systems.

Required skills

• CAD tools: Altium, KiCad.
• Simulation tools: SPICE, MATLAB, Simulink.
• Standards: IEC, UL, IPC.
• Version control: Git.
