Remote Law Clerk – Commercial Real Estate & Energy

About the role

We are seeking a remote Law Clerk to support a global leader in the energy and commercial real estate sectors. The contractor will assist legal teams with drafting, reviewing, and managing contracts and related documentation while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and prepare commercial real estate and energy contracts, lease agreements, and other transactional documents.
• Conduct legal research on real estate and energy law matters, including regulatory compliance and due diligence.
• Manage transactional documentation, maintaining accuracy and adherence to legal standards.
• Coordinate with legal teams, clients, and stakeholders to facilitate smooth transaction processes.
• Maintain organized records of legal documents and correspondence for current and future transactions.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree or enrollment in an accredited law school with at least two years completed.
• Prior experience as a law clerk, legal assistant, or similar role, preferably in commercial real estate or energy.
• Strong attention to detail in document management and compliance tracking.

Required skills

• Proficiency with legal research databases such as Westlaw.
• Proficiency with legal research databases such as LexisNexis.
