Remote Law Clerk – Commercial Real Estate & Energy

About the role

We are seeking a remote Law Clerk to support our client’s commercial real estate and energy legal teams. The position is contract‑based and focuses on drafting, reviewing, and managing transaction documents while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and prepare commercial real estate and energy contracts, lease agreements, and related transactional documents.
• Conduct legal research on real estate and energy law matters, including regulatory compliance and due diligence.
• Assist in managing transactional documentation, maintaining accuracy and adherence to legal standards.
• Coordinate with legal teams, clients, and stakeholders to facilitate smooth transaction processes.
• Maintain organized records of legal documents and correspondence for current and future transactions.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree or enrollment in an accredited law school with at least two years completed.
• Prior experience as a law clerk, legal assistant, or similar role, preferably in commercial real estate or energy sectors.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage complex documentation.

Required skills

• Proficiency with legal research databases such as Westlaw and LexisNexis.
• Ability to draft and review contracts and lease agreements.
