Remote Pod Lead (AI Data Annotation)

About the role

Turing, an AI company, is hiring a Remote Pod Lead for a 16-week project-based role. You will lead a small team of annotators, manage daily performance, clarify guidelines and ensure timely, high-quality delivery in a fast-paced environment. The work is fully remote and flexible.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily pod activities and support annotators when required
• Address guideline questions and recurring issues
• Conduct weekly team calls and share project updates
• Onboard and support new annotators during their first tasks
• Track pod performance and flag recurring quality concerns
• Coordinate retraining and confirm annotator readiness
• Report progress, blockers and support needs to the Team Lead

Required profile

• 2-4 years of overall experience
• Experience leading, mentoring or coordinating team members
• Experience in annotation, data labeling or AI training data is preferred

Schedule: five working days per week, including weekends as required, with two weekdays off; 7am-4pm PST. Each task involves comparing multiple chatbots and providing a final assessment.
